I have many beautiful Persian rugs and also some great Afghan pieces as well, most of which were woven with hand spun wool and plant based dyes.
I fell in love with handmade rugs a number of years ago and this is what compelled me to enter this business. As a dealer and collector, my biggest thrill is finding and offering a rug that makes your heart sing!
Many of the styles and designs offered are traditional tribal rugs and have been around for centuries. I also have some wonderful contemporary Persian rugs (Gabbehs) in addition to antique carpets from time to time. My criteria for selecting inventory for my gallery is based on beauty, quality and value. Good quality wool in harmonious colors with a great design layout gets my attention every time!
I feel I have a good understanding of the types of rugs that people in Northern California, particularly the San Francisco Bay Area are seeking and many satisfied clients since the inception of my business in 1998. Additionally, with the development of my web site in the last few years we have shipped rugs all over the US. I have satisfied clients from NYC to Florida, San Diego to Seattle.
